I tried hooking my phone up to motorola phone tools 4 and I can't get the multimedia studio to start. I followed tweaks and shortcuts found through google, but don't do any good. Drivers installed successfully and the phone is recognized w/out a problem. What can I do to get ringtones on this phone? emailing them doesn't do any good either.
I am having the same problem. The error I'm getting is "This function is unavailable because another function or data connection is open, or the phone is still initializing" It's not still initializing and I don't have anything else plugged in. I've posted this question in the MPT questions thread. Please help!
I use Verizon at my company and they are the worst for "locking" features that you pay for. The object is that you have to email your photos through their service. I had to buy Datapilot and that only allows me to create music via an on screen piano and it only allows me to copy photos that I have taken to my computer....I cannot send photos to the phone. Also, you cannot copy the music files off of the phone. Basically, Verizon screws you!! I have tried every hack and even the latest and greatest version of Phone Tools. Datapilot is the only thing that I have found to work and even that is limited.
