I am considering signing up with t-mobile, and am looking at the Motorola V300. I'd appreciate anyone's feedback.

From what I understand the v300 is a very goood phone. It's very cool with the HS-Collge crowd. Myself would like it's big brother the V600. (already have a BT Jabra for it) Plus I understand that the V600 firmware works with it. So if you want you can upgrade to better performance. Good luck enjoy

and once you get it don't forget to go to myPhoneFiles.com to get the app with which you can cut your own ringers from regular CDs, MP3 and WAV files, or even record your voice. It's pretty addictive.

I dunno about PA but here in New Jersey everyone I know with T-Mobile HATES it. I had it for like a week and canned it. Nice phones but garbage service, IMO.

Check out the V300 on Amazon.com, price is good and you can find user feedback.

Considering that the V300 is the budget model out of the V Series, I would say it is not a bad pick out of the crowd. I use the middle big brother lol namely the V525 [IMG]. Quite an impressive series all in all, camera is great for quick pics (though I still prefer the digicam [IMG]) and the rest of the phone makes a lighter weight than carrying my Nokia N-Gage in my pocket.

So if the phone strikes your fancy, by all means go for it.

Does anyone have an idea when the V600 is coming out for T-Mo?

I didn't know it was supposed to......that would be another reason to want to switch to TMobile.

I haven't heard anything about the v600 coming out for T-Mobile anytime soon (I wrote to Motorola a few months back and they indicated that there were no plans in the foreseable future to release it for T-Mobile.) I have used my friend's v300 and liked it although the image quality of the camera was not great but I guess that's what you get when you take the call-placing ability of a camera and combine it with the picture-taking ability of a phone.

The 300 is a nice phone. I always liked it over the the 400 which I had & liked. Cingular just released the V600 in selected markets. I think they want to test the phone before they go nationwide with it. If you want to check it out use 86442 for a zip on Cingular's site. [IMG]

Just found out the V600 is confirmed for T-Mo and should be coming out next week! I am also considering T-Mobile. The Amazon.com deals are phenomenal. I'm hoping the V600 will be like $50-100 on Amazon as the V300 is free. I like the V300 but the 600 is way more professional in appearance and bluetooth would be nice. If the V600 doesn't come out in time or is too expensive, I'll go V300.

Word? The v600 for T-Mobile? That's outstanding. I may have to get service with T-Mobile now. So animalover, you have your answer. Sign up with T-Mobile and get the v600.
