Anyone have these issues? This phone is only about 4-5 months old. The screen, when I open the flip is either just plain blue and won't go away, i.e. change when you press buttons. OR it shows some screwed up 1980's Atari looking jibberish. Anyone else have or see problems with this? I have attached pics....

The third pic....I actually got after playing for a while. It is a funny color though (Brown) on what is usually a Blue TMobile background screen. This screen lasts usually 1 or 2 flip opens and then it goes back to blue nothing :(

with the v180 it is going to be a hit or miss. Either this phone is going to be perfect in every aspect or it is going to give you problem after problem. When it works it is a great basic phone but first sign of trouble do a warrenty exchange or hope you are still in the 30 day return policy.

Thanks ;) Although I tried to get my boss to order me a newer v188....so I would have 850 capabilities for future use.....but he wouldn't :(

He had to use the spare v180's we had.

There is no way $60 was full retail cost for a Motorola v180. Try $125-$150.

Maybe that was with a contract, $60 seems way low..

if you can't get your phone swapped out ...have it sent in for warranty work. the flex cable in the phone is bad . it is happening to alot of moto flips..especially the v180 and the v220.
