using cell as a fax

    I just got a data cable and tried to fax using my cell phone hooked up to a computer. It went through sucessfully. Is this being charged as a regular voice call or data usage?

    Yes, regular voice call... takes time out during peak times and free during unlimited weekend and weeknights.

    i used winfax and a ran a usb cable to the cell phone. You can use any fax software on your computer.

    I use Symantec WinFax Pro 10.04 but you can use any fax software.

    any fax software as long as you set your modem to the cell.
