first let me say great site. the two stickeys helped me alot.

have had my v3m for a couple of months. am able to sync with windows media player thanks to the step by step directions here.

i was wondering if i got a bluetooth earpiece, can i use it to listen to the audio files stored on the v3m. sound quality is not important as i will be only listening to podcasts through the phone. if so, will all earpieces do it or only specific ones. if only certain ones, can someone recommend one.

one other question. will other brands of microsd cards such as kingston work well with the phone or should i stick with sandisk.

    thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Cingula 8125 (Thor): HTC-8100/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

the short answer is yes, the long answer is a bit more complicated. To listen to media on normal headsets you have to run an application or make a modification, however, motorola has a nice stereo bluetooth headset that has the proper profiles to listen to media without that. question is, is it suitable for you? The price is slightly up there and asside frm being wireles they look like sleek headphones

Conversely, the answer is no. The CDMA v3m does NOT have the ability to play music thru bluetooth. As for the transflash card, any brand microSD card should work just fine. Are you finding a huge price diff from the sandisk? If not, I would just stick with what I personally know works, the sandisk.

I do agree on sandisk it's what I got, great products. Sorry about the misunderstanding, but I was under the impression the CDMA v3m had the audio bluetooth profile.

For the headphones, you can go to radio shack and get a 3/32" plug that accepts what ever size headphones you have, which by the sounds of it is 1/8" for the ipod headphones. Your phone comes with and adapter that accepts a wired headset with a 3/32" plug. I now can use my ipod headphones with my phone for a matter of maybe $3 ;)

As for the 1 gb card, thats a great price. Good find

Is there a maximum size for the card? I've seen some great deals on some high-capacity cards, I don't want to end up buying a card too big for my phone though :(

Im pretty sure the 1gb is the largest the phone can handle. It might state that somewhere, but if it doesnt, I have not heard of any successfully using the 2gb card.
