    USB Data Cable & LG-Desktop

I recently purchased the Verizon Wireless Mobile Office package with a USB cable for my TM-510. The mobile office internet connection works much better than expected!

The problem is I also purchased the LG-Desktop software via download and have been unable to get it to work via the USB cable. If I select COM5 the program talks to my phone, but disconnects before it does anything. Has anyone been sucessful in using the package with a USB cable? LG says they do not support USB and I should talk to the retailer. The retailer says they do not support the LG-Desktop program talk to LG. That's why I am here.

    Thanks for any assistance.

I've used it with no problems. Try loweing the baud rate to 19200. Also, change the COM port speed to 9600. That may work.
