I have the My Circle Message Pack 400 package that includes 400 messages to people not on Alltel or in My Circle. Can I text message a friend in Canada with that package and have it count against the 400 messages without extra charges?
Alltel's web site says texting from the US to a foreign country is the same as texting within the US: "With International Text Messaging from Alltel, you can send text messages to people around the globe. Now friends, family and business associates on a participating carrier's network are just a text away. And it costs the same as texting someone next door. So don't let distance keep you from staying in touch. Spread the word to the world with International Text Messaging today." royc
Thanks for the reply. I called tech support today and asked as well this morning when they opened for business. Texting Candian numbers will count towards the 400 that come with the pack. I can not add a Canadian phone number, or at least this one that is so far north to My Circle to make it free though.
FYI, Tech Support NEVER closes. They are open 24/7. Most folks think this is not true, though. When they call in after CS closes, a message does state that CS is closed and the customer immediately hangs up...if they would listen to the ENTIRE message it does give out the option to report stolen phones and the like regardless, and those calls are routed to TS 24/7.
They were closed when I originally posted the question and it said I would have to call back during normal business hours. I waited until the next morning at around 9am or so to call. I can't say or not if I wauted for the entire message though.
