Our US Cellular store went out of business in Newton. Do you think this had anything to do with the Alltel/Verizon merger?
Given that US Cellular is a completely separate company from both Alltel AND Verizon, and is not involved in their Merger................NO.
I guess what I'm thinking is...now that we know that Alltel is going to stay in our market as Verizon, US Cellular will not be able to buy up those old Alltel customers.
Alltel told me that some of alltel coverage area the government put a hold on some areas, so some will change to verizon and others will stay as alltel, thats what they told me depending on area that they took over donald
You misunderstood. All areas not being divested will migrate over to Verizon over the next several months. ALL divested areas WILL be sold off as buyers are found. The name and brand of ALLTEL will be disappearing over the next several months. I think that in no more than 18-24 months it will disappear, depending on how fast other companies buy up the divested pieces.
That would make sence because when they told me that i did not believe them you have stated what i was wondering you make plenty of sence because alltell would not tell us thanks i think i am going to switch now donald
