Blackberry 8700 (w/EDGE) - April 17 Samsung t509 (similar to the SLVR I think) - May 1 Nokia 6103 - May 8
I found the Nokia 6103 on the Nokia UK web site (not on the U.S. site yet?). It looks like the 6101 except it has Bluetooth (which is something I wish the 6101 came with!).
The devices won't appear on the US site until the day of release (around noon ET) but the help files are usually online a few days earlier.
I wonder how mad Motorola gets that Samsung comes out with a similar phone shorty after Moto release's it? 1st the Razr & now the Slvr. I checked out the Slvr and don't know if I like it (thickness wise that is), I will stick with my V series clamshell's for now.
The Nokia 6103 came out last Monday, and I think the Samsung t609 comes out this Monday, 5/15. There are a number of additional devices through July, I just can't remember what they are
Nothing on July yet, but the Samsung t319 comes out next Monday 5/22. $40 or $90 for two-year on one-year activation or upgrade.
Ugh. The t319 is just a rehash of other Samsung phones from the recent past. It reminds me of the year phonescoop.com had the April Fool's article that Samsung was releasing 13 new silver flip phones... Samsung is still releasing the same phones over and over with slightly different features but they apparently read that article and are now making non-silver phones. The t319 is essentially the same as my e315, which was essentially the same as the t309 and on and on into infinity. awesome.:loony: Samsung, again, I'm pleading with you: stop copying Motorola. Stop copying yourselves! You have (and continue to make) awesome high end phones but your low- and mid- range offerings stink. Stop production on all of them now and redesign everything.:twocents: Sorry, I went a little fftopic: there. Thanks for the device update, Matt!
LOL Moto. The t319 is a rehash, but it's probably cheaper than the e315 ever was. You and I both know that most people want free. I like the Sammy's I've had (s105, e315). Moto is better than years ago, but their UI is still behind Nokia and Samsung (although I really like the iTAP that learns what I type!). My RAZR is nice, but I got it for the BT. Then again, I get one new phone per year, not one new phone per month like some of the people here and on HoFo
What are you saying, Matt? Actually, I don't get phones more than about once a year, either. I don't tend to sell my old phones, though, so I have a few to choose from. I prefer the Moto UI to the Samsung UI, actually, but that's just me. Anyway, I'm sure T-Mobile will have some interesting Motorola releases before the end of the year, eh?
Just that some people (not you personally) have much higher requirements than me for their phones, and they trade them often for a newer one. I don't know anything about Motos right now but I'm sure there will be some. There should be a number of new devices over the next month or so.
:lmao: Yeah... only because I can't really afford it. If I had more money I would probably own, like, 20 phones.
It seems as if the Samsung T-209 came out today. It's available in red and a light blue. They look extremely similar to all the other Samsung flip phones. :loony:
I don't, but it was on engadget a while ago, and AFAIK that info is correct regarding the features, EDGE, BT (I think).
Happened to stop in to a TMobile store in Boston today. Sales rep showed me the Nokia 8801. Pretty phone, but heavy. He said it is being released on Monday (6/12) and the 2-year contract price will be $559 !! Didn't see anything on this here or in the Nokia forum so I thought I'd chime in. Here's the phone, still listed as "tentative" on Phonescoop: http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=747
Oops .... I should have actually searched on the Nokia forum. Its been discussed over there for quite a while. :O
Thanks for the update. I just found out the details this week, but I don't spend too much time in the phone brand forums.

I decided to revive this thread and post a link to an Upcoming Phones for T-Mobile USA list. Althought this post was created on May 17, 2008, it looks like it's been updated since. There is only one device that seems certain to have HSDPA (Sony Ericsson Bella/TM506) and 2 more possibles. Not too impressive, IMHO. SW
According to the Tmonews link that I posted below and WA user KA3SGM in thread, the Sony Ericsson TM506 has been released. Everyone acknowledges that this is a HSDPA 1700/2100 phone except for T-Mobile's site, which does not mention it. Still their "3G launch" appears to be coming.... SW
