unlocking LG AX565

    my phone got lock by my cousin while he and his dad was over (he thought it would be funny to lock and change the password) but i need help to unlock it he dont remember the code he changed it to.... does any one know how to get into it or master rest????

    I've been playing with mine to see if I can find a way around it. The master reset is under the security setting so that doesn't help. I'll keep messing with it to see what I find....

    No, the CARRIER (Alltel) will be little to no help here. If they have already tried the default codes (and it looks like they have) then Alltel has NO idea what that code may be. It physically is stored in the phone.

    Do don't call Alltel about it.

    You could take it to the phone store. They could probably get it for free.

    No actually if you lock a phone the provider has no way of knowing what the code is without the phone in their possession.

    But Mr. Obvious is right. The store could hook it up to their computer and if they know where to look, can find the code.

    But it sounds like it was taken care of with a new phone....
