Unlocked TREO 650 on Tmobile - need help

    Hi all,
    I am a newbie here and I really need your help! I just bought an unlocked Cingular Treo 650 and now using it on Tmobile network. I can not get it to send/receive MMS (pics/audio/video) - i had tmobile tech support try to help me manually configure but nothing works. After about an hour on the phone, she finally said that some carriers "hardlock" their phones and even if unlocked, will not allow some features to work on other networks.... and said "good bye".:(

    So I spent mucho $$ on a phone that i cant use all its capabilities? Please help !!!

    i cant remember the site exactly but there is a tmobile site where you select your phone and it will send the settings to your phone and will automatically program them or will give you steps on the site to manually program them......

    but if the csr was right then you might have to mod the phone which will involve a little more expertise in phone modding which i dont have
