Looking at the Ultra USA Edition 2GB Memory they have for sale on ebay, know its steep at $399, but had a few questions.

    I'm an AT&T/Cingular Customer

NEW UNLOCKED V8 RAZR 2 II ULTRA ELITE USA ED 2GB MEM - (eBay item 150197375465 end time Dec-24-07 18:34:15 PST)

One is the whole "enhanced full rate" thing a scam or is it true?

This seller says they will set your internet and MMS settings when you buy for your carrier but the phone will say unlocked.

I've used unlocked phones in the past and a problems accessing such places as Media Net or Media Mall will having them set these for me clear up this issue?

Or will I still have problems using it?

8 hours of talk time? I know my first RAZR had boo-koos of battery power but not sure if it was even close.

What is the general opinion of the V8, I've had a RAZR before and liked it, I currently use a Blackjack and while very nice its really just too much phone for me.

The only thing that Enhanced Full Rate does is eat batteries...not much noticable difference. Its a simple matter of installing a providers websession info and other stuff such a branded MP onto the phone...
