I recenlty bought a cell phone on Ebay because my kids broke mine and it is an ATT Samsung GT B3310. I bought it already unlocked for T-Mobile as they are my carrier but when I recieved it I realized I cannot send or receive picture/video messages. I went back and looked at the ad and it does specifically say some carriers need an additional code to unlock MMS? Does anyone know what this is? If you call T-Mobile they are of no actual help. Please let me know if you have an idea. I'd love to have some pictures on here from family!

The Samsung GT B3310 is not an AT&T phone. It was an international release never made available by a US carrier. In any case. There are MMS settings that need to be put on the phone in order to receive. Check your phone's user manual to help you get into the configuration settings.

Try entering the settings as outlined below:

    Primary IP address:
    Secondary IP address: (Blank)
    Access Point Name (APN): wap.voicestream.com
    Data bearer: GPRS
    Profile name: GPRS
    Username: (Blank)
    Password: (Blank)
    Home page: http://wap.myvoicestream.com
    Picture messaging settings:
    Multi-Media Service Center(MMSC) address:
    Validity period: 72 hours
Hide ID option (if option exists): set to off, no, or disabled
    MMS-APN: wap.voicestream.com
    User: empty
    Pass: empty

There's no guarantee this will work. Sometimes these settings don't work so well with unsupported phones. The settings fields for the Samsung may not follow the outline as shown above.

If worse comes to worse, try T-Mobile tech support again.
