Do you know of anyone in the PDX area who unlocks AT&T or Cingular phones? Also, I've heard that Nokia has the best signal strength ... any comments on that? Thanks.

I can second Nokia's being about the best choice for RF performance in a cell phone. All the nokias I've had were great in that area.

You can also check e-bay for unlocking services, or try doing a search on google for unlocking info. I had one of my Nokia's unlocked by somebody on e-bay, it went really smooth and fast.

I can provide you with unlock codes to almost any phone except Motorolas and PDA/Mobile PC Devices. And I do it for FREE.

If you want me to give you the unlock codes just PM me. Or post your phone model, make, IMEI #, Service Provider (on which phone is set) and your country. Then I can provide you with the unlock codes.

    Welcome to WA...

Just one recommendation, never post your EMEI/ESN number on any web site for your own security...

Just go to one of your local private retailer stores that carry GSM service, they usually have the flasher to unlock your phone, that's how i got my V600 unlocked for about $20...

By the way, my Motorolas do just fine in the RF department...

Yes, just make sure it's a "New" at&t branded phone & not an older AT&T Wireless phone.
If you get restricted, then it may be an older one that is locked.
