Is there a cell phone plan which gives me Unlimited Anytime minutes? Price is not a hassle.

I do have verizon now but unfortunately they do not have Unlimnited Anytime. Sigh!

I do know that At & T had a 99 $ plan for unlimited anytime minutes but am unable to find it.

    Any other suggestions?

cingular has a promo for unlimited for the first 3 months. other than that i havent seen any. Also expect your service to decrease with cingular compared to verizon.

Sprint also has an unlimited anytime minute plan, however you have to sign up for their complete sense package. Which means you have to have sprint as your landline, long distance and of course wireless. for the total package i think it runs 149.99 depending on market.

Verizon's biggest national plan is $149 for 3400 anytime minutes, UNW, and 1000 mtm.

AT&T doesnt offer the unlimited plan anymore AFAIK. However, Cingular has the following offers:

    - Unlimited SuperHome 1000 (Unlimited for 3 Months / 1,000 Anytime + 5,000 N&W thereafter) $49.99
    - Unlimited SuperHome 1200 (Unlimited for 6 Months / 1,200 Anytime + 5,000 N&W thereafter) $69.99
    - Unlimited SuperHome 1700 (Unlimited for 12 Months / 1,700 Anytime + 5,000 N&W thereafter) $99.99

njsvrzncdma, why do you expect service to decrease with T-Mobile?. I expect it to get better because it can't get any worse [IMG] Also, I expect Cingular to decrease on TDMA, but not on GSM. GSM can only get better, not worse. However, the original poster is from Winscosin so we can't judge their coverage by what we see here.

    Peace..

The cingular promotion can go for longer time periods- its all 2 year contracts.
For $99 per month you get one year unlimited and the second year is 2000 peak and 5000 off peak
I think there is a middle plan for $69 or $79 with six months unlimited then 1-1/2 years

    oops missed bobolito's post

Bobolito, thanks for being the voice of reason here on Cingular's reception. The unlimited plans are ONLY offered on GSM service. Expect the GSM service from Cingular to kick the living crud out of any company choosing to stay with CDMA. In the Philadelphia metro area, I've already got the Verizon customers flowing through the door waiting for good GSM. AT&T and Cingular will dominate the market in my area in terms of cell phone reception and it looks like Verizon might steal a few Nextel customers, but the reception on Cingular will be stronger than Verizon for sure, at least in my market. It's a mortal lock.

I've seen my cell phone use Cingular, AT&T, and T-mobiles towers in my area, making my phone comparable to owning a phone from all three companies. Does Verizon, even have access to Sprint's towers?

I think that the decrease in T-Mobile's service was in comparison to Verizon's coverage not T-Mobile's current coverage.

How much do you speak on the phone in a day to need unlimited minutes? 2000min a month gives you over an hour and a half of talk time per day! I like talking on the phone, but that's stretching it.

I've got 2 business customers who travel on the road on the unlimited plan. They are using the Nokia 6800, virtually running their business off of it, using it as a modem for their laptop computers via infrared. They will probably use about 6 hours per day for everyday they work this month. They will end up close to 10,000 daytime minutes used per person.

There aren't many people using their phones this much, but there is a certain niche market that is very attracted to unlimited plans.

Thanks for all your replies. I think a Nextel 199$ plan wud make sense in my case. If only the serice wud turn out as good as the one I have now, i.e, Verizon.

I would love Verizon to offer an Unlimited anytime minutes plan. The new plans they have from June 1st aint as good.

Call Verizon cust. service and see if they have that plan....Unlimited plans aren't always advertised...I know Alltel has one but they do not offer it off the shelf.

Too bad you aren't in an Alltel service area....$99 for unlimited use.

I don't know if Cricket service like that exists in your area...here they have unlimited talk time for $35.

well bobolito, your right (as usual) TDMA i expect to decrease on cingular but not gsm. What i actuallly was refferring to was if right now today he switched from verizon to tmobile or cingular gsm...on the whole his overall coverage area will decrease and the comforts of usage in the home may decrease unless a tower is nearby. if it is he may not notice such a difference..[IMG]

If you live in the madison area, Einstein PCS offers unlimited local usage for as low as 39.95/month.
    Visit them at www.einsteinpcs.com
The plan comparison is at the address above, then /plans/nominutelimit.htm
They are GSM. Roaming is 25cents/min on their $59.95/mo premium plan.
    Hope this helps
