Unexpected $571 Check.

    Hey guys,

    I'm sure you probably won't care, but something awesome happened to me today.

    Many of you remember when I had my job at the hospital a little over a year ago (It was when I found, and joined WA.)

    Well I was working for Cherokee Nation, and apparently early last year the Chief requested bonuses for everyone, and they just got around to getting everything together... and needless to say, I got a check for $571 in the mail today. I haven't worked there since last January, and was only a temporary employee...

    So I'm ecstatic to say the least.

    Ok, thanks for your time, I'll stop rambling now.

    If I had the time, I definitely would. It is spring break and all. But I still have to work for a living... Honestly I don't know what I'm going to do with it, probably just deposit it, and let it sit. How boring, I know...

    Congratulations Ash, I am happy you, and by the way,your plan for the money is not boring, it is downright awesome and very mature! When I was your age I was not that disciplined. Wow, even at my age I am NOT that disciplined. I am proud of you........Great Job!!!!

    A similar thing thing happened to me recently!!! I worked at a telemarketing place up to 11 months ago; the company mailed me a notice stating they issued me a check two years ago that I never cashed. I verified my statements and sure enough, I never received the check:) Although my check is only for $116, I'll take every dollar that'll come into my mailbox:cool: The check will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Sorry, I'm not gonna share:D Last month, I received a settlement check from a music settlement for about $14. The court did a skip trace and got the address to send me the $14. Sorry, the money is long gone LOL
