    Hey all,

I asked this ? on Hofo, last night, & not 1 reply. I want your honest advice here. I got the chance to toy around w/ both of these phones yesterday. I liked them both.

I was a little let down @ how cheapo the V710 feels in my hand. It feels like a toy. I do like how solid the Treo600 feels. It is nice and compact.

I have no need for a camera phone. My present PDA will be kicking it soon, so it would be nice to combine a PDA with a phone. I would also obviously prefer a strong RF performer. I won't mind going all-digital next time around, as I will have my 4400 to fall back on if need be...

With all this taken into consideration, which of these phones would be my best bet??? Thanks for the opinions in advance...

If you want a PDA phone, the Treo is the way to go..I have not personally used one but a colleague of mine has it and I haven't heard him have anything negative to say about it.

You said that a camera does not matter to you, but the VZW website lists the Treo both with and without the camera for the same price, so why not go ahead with the Treo and get a camera while you're at it?

Personally I wouldn't get either of those either, but I would prefer the PDA over just the phone..

exactly, i wish they would have gone with the metal-shell like the v600, but Critic brought up a good point, it would have made it heavier in the process...

I would go with the Treo as long as the the size and battery life do not bother you.

for better or worse, I charge my phone every single night, whether or not it needs to be. I don't see that as too big of a concern.

I don't think the Treo is overly big. It fits nicely in my hand. we'll see what happens...
