Travelling to hawaii

    Hi. I have a cingular nationwide plan and will be travelling to hawaii soon. Is this included in my plan or will i pay any roaming charges? Little confused and want to make sure i don't get charged anything but "minutes". Thanks.

    I have a quad band V505. I used it on the Big Island of Hawaii as well as in Maui. Except in parts of Hawaii Volcano National Park, I had pretty good signal most everywhere I went. The Waipoa valley was weak, too.

    My wife's Verizon phone also worked faily well. Coverage was roughly equal between Cingular and Verizon.
