Is there a way to tranfer any remaining minutes from one sim card to another? I heard there was a code you could send as a text message but I cannot out what it is. Any help?
Are we talking about a prepaid or postpaid account? I think it can be done on prepaid if you deactivate the old SIM through CS, but postpaid they are gone. -Jay
The account balance is not stored on the SIM card.. It is stored in the records of the wireless carrier. The account balance is tied to whatever phone number the line has.
assuming this is a prepaid service and there is 2 different phone numbers... no you cannot txfer the balance to another phone number... if you are changing sim cards and keeping the same number... then it doesnt matter... the money is still on the same account... if you have a contract account you cannot transfer rollover from one account to another... if you are in a family plan... the rollover are shared between all the numbers in a family group anyway
