I have a LG VX9900 and I have some very important pictures stored on it that I would like to transfer to my computer. Can anyone tell me how to do this. Verizon says I can't. Thanks for any info.

First off, welcome to the Wireless Advisor forums. Next, to answer your question there is 2 way to get those pics off the phone. You can either send them as picture messages to an email account, and then from there just save them to your hard drive on the computer. The other way, and easiest if you have a lot of pics you need to get off the phone, is get a micro SD card, copy the pics from the phone memory to the card memory, and then just remove the card from the phone and put it in a USB card reader on a computer like you would do with a digital camera. Hope that helps you.

Thanks for the info. The pics are stored in the phone. I have a memory card in the phone (1GB micro SD) but I can't find a way to transfer the pics from the phone to the chip. I went to tools and then memory but there was not an option to do that. Any Ideas?

Is there a menu available when you're actually viewing the photo? There may be an option within the photo viewer to move the photo from the internal memory to the MicroSD card.

Go to the my pictures menu. Then from there open up your pictures. If you click on options and see "manage my pics" choose that and you can choose which photo's you want and it will give you and option to move them to the SD card.

If you do not see manage my pics open up a single picture then click options. See if it says "move" from there if it does then you will need to do it one by one, at least your pictures will be moved.

One of those two ways will work on the 9900.

Quicker way to move them in the VZW UI, go to the tools section where you were --> memory -->phone memory --> pictures --> options --> move --> select all --> done. Then give it a minute to copy over. Same thing can be done in the video section too.
