This may be already in here somwhere & I missed it. Is ther a way/place to see when new sites go up, on lne, & which carrier is useing the site? Just curious. I sell wireless repeaters & find Wireless Advisor very helpful to me. However for both personal & business it would be nice to know the new sites & who is useing them.
You may know that sprint and t-mobile update their coverage maps with new tower info every few months. Antennasearch.com updates about once a month, but may not give all cell sites. cellreception.com has some decent records as well, and you can always check and see whats in the WA gallery
See the thread below on "Measuring Reception" for a way to get the latitude and longitude of the site your phone is using.
Thanks for the info. I will look at some of these sites. Of course I use Wireless Advisor & cellreception.com a ton as it is.
Let's see if this paste works: http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/general-wireless-discussion/61578-measuring-reception.html Yes, it does -- scroll down to entry #18. -- J.S.
