    Hello:

For the last 24 hours or so something strange has been going on with my 2 Alltel phones. I have both a Blackberry Pearl and Motorola VE20.

Usually at my home I receive a pretty good signal. In the last day or so, the signal at my home has fluctuated widely with the phones going from 3 bars to 0 and back up to 3 in a split second. Some calls go through with good quality and others are choppy.

Could this be a network or tower issue? I am in a rural area and we only have one tower which Alltel is located upon.

Done a *228 lately? If not then try that. Barring that call tech support and maybe they need some tower maintence.

Just don't use either of your phones to do it. Never be on the phone(s) experiencing problems when you call in problems.

I can't tell you the number of people we have to tell to call back when they do this.

Did you get your tower issue solved, Altq2? We've had similar problems the last couple of days. I called tech support and they said there must be something wrong with my phone. Funny that something would happen to both phones and wireless internet the same day. I wonder if it has anything to do with merger date?
