Anyone seen or played with this phone yet?

I like that it has the protector screen thats touch sensitive but also doubles to make the phone a touchscreen flip phone.

Just read the reviews on phonescoop.com and other such sites. Most of the reviews so far are either bad or mixed. Lots of people are saying "great ideas", "good concept", but poor follow-through on the actual production.

Yet another good idea by Moto that is already failing. They should just give it up already.

I've read some of those reviews and I'm in agreement with you. It's sad to see what's happened to Motorola.

I checked out a display phone at my local VZW store today. Its ugly when open, the touch screen response is horrible, definitely something that I know to stay away from.

Interesting. I used this phone in the store for a while and found the screen to be pretty nice. I couldn't type a single word without a mistake on the LG Dare, but immediately was able to type on the Krave with very few mistakes. Would be nice if you could customize the menu when the flip is closed.

I've got to imagine that little flimsy screen is going to fall off after one too many crammings into a pocket.

    Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Pearl 8130: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.2.13057/352; U; en))

It doesn't seem flimsy--it feels a lot like a regular flip. My concern would be marks on it, making it hard to see through. I saw one display model with some scuffing on it after only a week or two.
