    Hey I just got a new 7MP camera as well! I usually have to scale them down to 3MP though because otherwise they are too big to upload here.

    Maybe we got the same kind, he he. I still need a memory card for mine, though, so it's not quite operational yet(the internal memory only holds a dozen or so pictures). I ordered a 2GB memory card online. ;)

    Anyways, back on topic. :D

    My camera came with almost no memory. I could only fit about 5 pictures at a time using 5MP. So I went to Best Buy and picked up a 1GB memory card for $34.99 with a $15.00 mail in rebate off of that. So $20.00 for a memory card is not bad.

    What file size do you need to make it convenient to upload pictures from these cameras? Maybe I can up the limits if it isn't too huge.

    Well when I tried to upload the 5MP or 7MP pics I couldn't do it. But the 3MP worked. I can't remember what the file sizes it rejected were but next time I'll make a note of it. I'm a little new at the digital camera thing.

    Of the pictures I have on hand the largest one appears to be 2.70 MB and most averaging around 2.5 MB.

    Threw you a few downed towers from Katrina.


    I have a couple shots from the totaled St Marys MTSO on my other machine. Try to get those up including all the gators that were INSIDE the security fence after the water receded.
