my sister found a stray motorola v180 cingular, well she has the same phone and she just gave it to me, now i have 3 phones, nokia 7210, nokia 3650, plus this one. I threw the sim card away and plugged in my cingular sim card. I used to have a v220, but it died on me, so i just sold it for parts. Is there any good java apps that you guys might recommend for the v180, like system utilities, or some cool games? i used mobile phone tools, and transferring pictures and ringtones was a breeze.

And an unlucky day for the poor soul who lost it and whose SIM card you threw away. Did it ever occur to you to contact Cingular and see about getting it back to its original owner?

Did it also occur to you that Cingular can blacklist the IMEI so once the phone is reported missing, it won't work? Well played, ace.

well apparently, it happened 3 months ago, and when my sister checked the sim card, its not working anymore. She just showed it to me today. My sister kept it for three months before deciding to show it. And most of the cingular users got the phone for free anyway.
