    Hehe, there are a lot of big brains here on WA so I'm not worried about people forgetting it. Obviously, it's unusual to wish people Happy B-Day you've never seen personally before but we're becoming more and more inclined to make contacts online.

    So, the Internet is a wonderful thing but I'm glad that my life doesn't revolve around it ;).

    Thanks, azcellphonejunkie :). I don't know yet, Gamer. I prefer to celebrate with close friends and family but since my mom and both younger brothers are back at home in California, it'll probably be a quiet celebration on the coming weekend with my dad (visiting) and my relatives who live here in Cologne (grandparents, cousins etc).

    As for celebrating today, I might celebrate with some co-workers after work since another colleague also has her b-day today. First I have to work though lol :D.

    Hi Shizam,

    nope, no shift today or the usual Monday shift since Monday was a national holiday. I have my appointment at the Department Uniform Division on Thursday after work to get fitted with my informal, light uniform and the heavy-duty uniform (Nomex) for calls. The fitting involves getting your own Nomex uniform (Nomex gloves will be issued once I'm certified with Module 11 (involving everything except SCBA training), leather gloves, helmet, firefighter's belt with an axe/hatchet, boots and a lot more. I'll post pics once I have the equipment.

    Thanks everybody! It was a great day. First I finally got my driver license, got insurance for my car, opened up a checking, savings, got a CD at the bank, and got my first credit card that I spent money on already (Express). LOL. Then I had the nicest conversation with Verizon's retentions (wasn't nice), so by Monday I'll get my stupid e815 replaced with an LG8300 plus 150 bonus minutes for the next two months. IT WAS A GREAT DAY! I guess there's nothing else to look forward too, the last privelege (sp?) that I get is alcohol at 21 which means nothing because I don't like it anway!
