We have a Moto CLIQ on TMobile with an unlimited plan. TMobile is currently advertising an add a phone for $5/month promotion. Does that mean we can add a phone for $5/month and receive the same features as the existing unlimited plan? (I am thinking not but thought someone may know for sure.) Thanks.

I believe the $5 add a line is for family plans only, meaning you have 2 lines. For $5 you get a 3rd line. Also only applies to Even More 750 and 1500 minute plans (not unlimited) and you have 2 sign a 2 year commitment.

the add a line for the unlimited is 30 for the even more or even more plus for just talk and whatever txt feature you have seperate data, it's 39.99 if you're on the unlimited loyalty plan.

I stopped by a TMobile store and according to the representative (and the literature in the store) the cost of going from one unlimited user to two pretty much doubles (from $93,including taxes, to $179, plus applicable taxes for two lines). So, no savings seem to result by adding a second phone.

If you get another Cliq (or other Smartphone) you are going to be required to add data service as well. All Pooling Plans only allow the users to share the voice minutes. Data is not shared among users.

I know on the 750 & 1500 Even More Plus Family Talk, Text, & Data Plans. Plan minutes and texts are shared on all line, and data is included on the first two line. But lines 3-5 need to pay extra. Not sure if that is the case on Even More plans or any unlimited plan. :)
