tivo to iphone 4 and proximity sensor issue

    Had the iphone 4 for two days.I now have a question about the proximity sensor, when dialling from the contacts list the screen goes dark as it should but if I manually type a number in and dial it the screen stays on, is it just me? I thought that during any call the screen would go dark so nothing could be pressed by accident.
    Anybody?

    2)Which software can convert tivo to iphone 4?Want to watch tivo shows on iphone.
    TiVo's converters for mobile devices are terrible
