My contract runs out in a few days and I'd like to get a new phone. I'm not sure what to get. I currently have a Treo 600 and I'm not happy with the phone aspect of it. It's great as a PDA/email/web browser but, frankly, the phone sucks.

I'd like some advice as to what you would recommend. It doesn't have to be a smartphone, but the following are essential:

    good phone reception and functionality
    national/international roaming
    email
    web browsing
    sms

A camera would be nice but it's pretty low on the list.

    Thanks.

Charlyee seems to like her Sammy BlackJack. She says it does quite well as a phone. It is a bit pricey right now, but prices will probably fall right after Christmas.
