NORTHEAST U.S. -- Thumb Cellular

    I currently have a V3m from TC but have been having no luck teathering. I don't know if it's just because I have no clue what I am doing or what. But I have a Mac so I doubt mpt will help.
    My other option is to get a new phone, but I don't exactly want to go with a contract to get the HTC ppc6800 for 300 vs 500. I've been ebaying around and I can find alot of "unlocked" alltell and sprint HTC 6800's. My question is before I go and pay 140 does anyone have any experience using an unlocked phone with TC? If so, more specifically the HTC or other smart phones?

    I don't think you're going to get much luck with people having Thumb Cellular on here. I think I'm about the only user on here (besides you of course) who is from the thumb. LOL. However, I have AT&T so I can't really be of help, plus I don't even really understand what tethering is. LOL.

    Basically, at least from what I understand, tethering allows you to use your data connection from your phone one your computer either via USB connection or bluetooth.
