SERO plans are for new lines of service only. A few current customers have reported success changing to the new plans, so it doesn't hurt to ask. However, don't count on it.

Larry, I sent ya a PM!

Can one also get a discount on the phone in this plan, or does one need to pay full price?

I believe that phones are discounted if you look at the webiste provided; when I checked it out, they even offered at least one phone for free.

I think I've already given at least 5 referrals now. lol Sprint should give me about 3 months of free service for this.

I wouldnt mind taking a referral from you larry, If you still got any left ^_^

and may I ask what kind of incentive sprint employees get for referrals?
i can obtain a bunch of sprint email addys from people i come across that wouldnt mind benefiting from spreading their email address on forums like this where there are needy people like us ^_^

I just sent you a PM. In answer to your question I don't get anything for these referrals unless someone voluntarily gives me their number after they become a customer and allows me to use them in the referral program (both of us would then get a $25 service credit each).

Was trying to decide between Sprint and Verizon then saw this deal.

I would very much appreciated if someone can offer me a referral. Please PM me or email me at jennie8@okcom.net. Switching from Cingular. Thanks.

I saw this over on hofo first. My god.....! A friend of mine is a Sprint manager in Ocean City, MD. He's an old Nextel employee and I don't think he has a @sprint.com or whatever email. I'd seriously think about canceling and switching over if I didn't have two lines. This plan would save me a lot ( I pay $80 total a month for 2 lines with extras plus taxes), but I dunno what I'd do with my mom's line. She'd survive on prepay, but I wouldn't want to pay cancellation fee x2.

Sprint plan= $35 a month for 7pm nites (has a lot of cool stuff cingular doesn't ie power vision, etc.) plus taxes equals $42

Put mom on Cingular prepay: 20 a month

    Cancellation fees: $300

Comes out to $75 roughly a month...even with cancellation fees. Jesus....still cheaper than Cingular. I am happy with Cingular....but....

Larry you may have a PM soon. I do leave for a trip on Friday, but this does end 6/2006.

This plan is very enticing. I'm considering switching from Cingular, but don't know how good Sprint PCS service is in my area (Northern Virginia).

I just read through the fine print and it says limit of 5 referrals per person. Are you guys worried that your all using the same referrer?

We have Nextel thru Sprint here....Does it still apply?

Maybe DH would change his mind about me waiting until spring for a new phone if he saw this.

He has Nextel thru work - he'd probably be pissed if I kept DC'ing him when he was in meetings! I'm always having him DC our neighbor!

Wait - is the free web/data access only for the first month??

The e-mail address I provide has no limits I'm pretty sure. If anyone has tried to use my referral address and it didn't work please let me know and I will look into it. But it has worked on more than 5 already.

I asked and I got. I gots sweet-talkin' skillz, though :browani: Didn't even have to provide an employee email addy!
I went with the 500 min for $30. One thing to note is that the SERO plan doesn't include picture/video mail; it is $5 extra. Still an awesome deal. I didn't ask if my corp. discount still applies, but I'm guessing it does.

Gonna switch my gf to the plan here shortly. The phones are indeed discounted on the site, with one being free. The prices do switch around, however, because the one I saw for free the other day is now $49. A different model was free this time. The first phone was better. Must...wait...
