Hiya hiya hiya. I like this forum because it helped me resume my free ringtone creations.
I'd be glad to upload any of my custom jobs for people to use, if there is such a place to do that.

    Cheers!

Use of mobile 'phone in the USA

I'm not sure if I'm in the correct place but here goes!
I am going to the US from UK next week and am having "great fun" in sorting out my Mobile 'phone for use there, in a RV for three weeks.
On a past holiday it was OK in Colorado but this year we are in Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska and my previous set up has not any availability in those areas.
The 'phone is a Nokia 6131 with possibly a package from T Mobile.
T-mobile say it will be OK.Are they correct!

    Thanks for any advice.

    Colin

The Nokia E90 is a GSM phone and will not work on Nextel's iDEN network. It would work with AT&T or T-Mobile .

My Sprint contract has expired and I need some help making my next decisions. Perhaps someone can help?

The time has come for me to buy a Smartphone. I have relied on a cell phone for phone calls and the occasional text message and a separate Palm for its calendar and phone directory, but now find it cumbersome and need rapid access to emails.

I am not wedded to Sprint but I do want to be able to sync my palm pilot data to any new smartphone I purchase. Am I restricted to using a Treo? The new Instinct looks great, but I've been told that I would have to input my hundreds of phone numbers and calendar by hand.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Wireless Advisor.

You are not wedded to Treo. I just moved from a Palm Treo 680, to a Windows Mobile HTC 8925. If you have been syncing with with the Palm Desktop, you'll need to convert to Microsoft Office Outlook. I had Desktop at home, and Outlook at work, so I converted at work.

And welcome to everyone else who's new!
