    Thanks for the welcome. I use a 650 Treo with Vera Mail tied into my Outlook functions. I have been a Sprint mobile customer for some while. I'm going to Australia on Tuesday. Things are a little confusing as to whether my phone , ready for intern roaming, will work near Surfer Paradise, Southport and Coolangatta in Queensland. Seems Brisbane is fine. Can one of you point me to the Forum where I might get some answers? Cus Serv Rep wasn't confident in her discussion of the areas. Looking forward to many interesting threads, cheers!

    Enjoy your trip. Your Sprint enabled Treo 650 will work fine in Canada and Mexico since it's the 850/1900 MHz CDMA model. Checking a listing of the Sprint PRL (preferred roaming list) shows no Austrailian cities like Brisbane, Sidney or Canberra. Checking a list of Sprint's data roaming partners shows Optus Mobile using GPRS (and GSM for voice, no doubt, on 900/1800 MHz).

    So I'd expect nothing, and be delighted should there be anything. For more Sprint news, see our Sprint forum.
