    HELLO,

I'M NEW TO THE THREAD :D!! I'm wanting help trying to get my RAZR V3m to work using Motorola Phone Tools. I get message "unavailable signal, mobile not connected (which it is) and the message across the bottom "please wait, initializing". I tried rebooting and taking battery out and still won't work!!

Hello! Yes, I'm a new member and would like some help from the community. I'm looking for service only. I have a cell phone (BB) that I like and been using for a while and all I need is some information on what providers can help me with this.

I'm looking forward on your replies thanks

    Hi to all,

Just coming on board to the wireless world and gangplank seems a bit shakey:)

Wife and I had "Pay-As-You-Go" cellphones for over a year but recently decided we needed to take the next step. Will be signing-up for the ALLTEL 2 Lines shared minutes Nation Freedom Plan and Wireless Internet tomorrow, ALLTEL gives us the best signal in our area. Our rural Michigan locale offers us racey Internet access at 26.4kps dial-up so we are looking forward to something faster and hope that this Wireless Internet is the answer. We are also planning on replacing our land lines by utilizing a "Dock-n-Talk", nice idea if it works.

Hey, everyone. I'm new to the site and don't really have any of my own expertise to share, but I'm pretty excited to learn from everyone's experience. I've been with Cingular for about eight years and have recently downgraded my service plan in favour of a Cricket line as more of a general daily use phone.

    Nice to meet'cha.

I just got the CDM-120 as a gift. Until now, I have avoided cell phones because I am hard of hearing and depended on TTY. The phone came with unlimited text message plan so I no longer need to lug my bulky TTY device and depend on a pay phone to use it in emergencies (my car likes to break down a lot). Plus I can receive incoming message if my parents or my brother needed me to pick up or do something. Before the phone, there was no way for them to contact me.

    Hi, All,

I just bought a Motorola v3xx and live in Malaysia where I am trying to use it as a modem aboard my boat/home. I use celcom's 3.5 G network. So far the results have been less than hoped for but it's passable. If I can answer any questions about Malaysia I will try.

I think these forums are great and there are so many great people who explain things for those of us who feel mentally challenged because we can't program our telephones/DVD players/GPS, etc..

Thanks (and especially to the moderators when I screw up)

:) I am brand new to this site and forums in general. I have a HP iPAQ 6925 and I have a bluethooth Scala brand. Is this the most compatable__bluetooth with this particular phone. Does anyone know the major differences betweenn the HP 6925 and the Cingular 8525? I have had the iPAQ less than 2 weeks and am concerned about the call quality vs a Cingular phone. The computer is excellent, it's the phone quality I am worried about. Thanks for your time. MarthaL

Help wanted with Error 0x43 for Motorazr v3t

Hello Can anyone help me with this problem I'm having with my new Motorazr v3t
I'm using the program Motorola Phone Tools and is up to date. When I download pictures from my pc to the phone it is fine but when I try to download music from a cd which I shrunk it to 14.67 seconds and save it and send it to my phone I receive an error Request Denied By Phone Forbidden (0x43). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
    thank you

Welcome to WA. you need to look in the razr area (http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/razr-phones/) and you will find (or ask) on how to modify/hack your phone to allow that. If you have VZW, they do block that so one buys tones from them.
