    newbie here. well i have a VERY good tmobile plane so I'd rather not switch carriers. Trouble is I think I've lost my phone. I went cellular only 8 years ago so I need to replace it ASAP. I've been very loyal to Nokia because my one and only dalliance with another phone (a Samsung) was not a very good experience It frequently dropped calls and was otherwise a very poor connection. So I'm looking for suggestions or either Nokia's or perhaps one of the new razr phones.

    Just joined because this looks helpful. I replaced my Palm device (Clie NZ90) last year with a Pocket PC (Sprint PPC-6700) & have been frustrated ever since. Partly by the device (Palm was *so* easy to work with-or did I just understand it better?) and partly by not having enough time to wade thru all the forums.

    My main uses are eBooks, music, games, spreadsheets. I hope to add databases within the next year but first I've got to design the ones I want. (I'm an application programmer with 20 years of experience on desktops-very little patience with 'canned' apps.)

    Anyway, mainly wanted to introduce myself. I ran across this looking for the way to install an A2DP profile so I'm gonna go do that, then I'll be back.

    Your signature reminds me of a quote I recently saw by Samuel Johnson (of dictionary fame). "The navy is like being in jail with the chance of drowning."

    I never did find anything about why he disliked the nave, but it's obvious that he did. (Now if it had been Oscar Wilde I'd have written it off as nothing but a wisecrack.)
