Hello from the heart of the Ouachita Mountains. Seems like I am always "reaching" for more from my cell phones, yet at each level I seem to run amuck and need help.
Please be gentle with this high tech redneck wanna'be.

;) Hi and thanks for all the welcomes. But I'm new to all of this and new to the lingo and new to electronics. But here we go. I purchased a unlocked Moto black V3 from ebay. I T-Mobile I have gone on the web site and updated my account and selected my phone to this account, but it won't stay. I have had them send me set-ups and even talked at lenghth with a customer service rep. I can't download games or tones to my phone I get a message that says unsupported device. What do I do to fix this I'm getting frustraded with this. Can anyone help me, please. And remember I don't get the technical stuff so go slow. :(

A spammer is someone that post's something trying to get you to buy products, the same as email spam's trying to get you to buy things for cheap or bring you to a faux site to get your information like a phishing site

In the board you want to post your question etc... on the left side you should see a button that say's "New Thread" click that and you can put in a title then your question.

Oh And Welcome to WA, look forward to your posts & input.

My recommendation is to post your T-Mobile question here http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/t-mobile-users/

you can also do a search and may find the answer has already been posted.

    Welcome to WA.

Since T-Mobile never sold the black V3, it's not listed on my.t-mobile.com as a selection. I do see the dark grey V3t MyFaves phone though.

I think it might help to configure your phone to uze T-Zones at the following link:

    Hullo everyone -
I'm an old Londoner living out my easy years in Muir Beach, California. I came across this site by accident,
it looked interesting so I registered.
My first question:- I have a Verizon cell which doesn't
work at my house. Other people seem to be able to get
a signal here, (I forgot to ask which service they had),
who has the best cell phone for difficult areas?

    Welcome to WA

You may be better asking this in the Western US forum, and give some more information like which phone you are using etc...
I keep hearing Sprint, T-Mobile & Verizon are your better choices in CA, and it may help to check with the other people which carrier they are using.

Check the Coverage on T-Mobile's Website. You can just put your address in and see what you can expect for coverage.
I should say that you can do it on Sprint's website too for both Sprint PCS and NEXTEL iDen coverage too.

Good Luck! Hope it helps. The only problem is you would have to get a new phone with any of those options. :(

HELLO! I'm not familiar with forum usage nor with high-tech stuff. Also my english may not be faultless so please understand.

I 'd like to know if there is any way (software) to turn my pc into a phone device without paying any fees etc. What i realy want is to use my pc as a second phone device in my home.No registrations, no accounts or stuff like that. Just make phone calls from my pc via my phone line and be charged as if i had used my phone.

I hope you understand what i mean. If someone does and and knows something about it please answer!
