Which company are you having a problem with, Jamster?

Usually you have to email them to let them know you didn't sign up for the ringtones & want to be removed.
As for getting a refund, it took me close to 6 months of constant emails & finally threatening them to report them & join a class action suit that was starting to take place.

Hope this helps & with more information, people can help you even more.

    Hello everyone!

I just purchased a razr v3m, and downloaded bitpim ... its working fairly okay, but I can only access my pix and cannot write back into the phone, the contact list works just great!, the music sync (wndows media player 10) is also working really good, now when we come to the ringtones....well .. nothing happens, I downloaded the latest version of bitpim, and the razr V3M is not featured in the phone list, hmmmm.... if anyone has used the razr v3m with bitpim let me know what is wrong with it.

well..thank you Wireless Advisor for all the good info.

Hello! I'm battling a rebate denial issue on ALLTEL Samsung U420's. The rebate handling agents have lost the original UPC code, and of course the onus always falls on the requestor to have copied all documentation. But those copies won't be the originals either. English appears to be a second language for their customer service people. I'm extremely frustrated and will unload at the local ALLTEL srvice center tomorrow. Anyone else having these issues?

1st this or any question doesn't make you or anyone else look dumb, it's good to ask questions & be able to learn more.

As for what is a spammer: they are people/companies that send out either emails or text messages that try to sell you things or products, part of the problem is how these messages guide you to a false site that looks legit & gets you to give your personal information, including CC #'s and SS #'s that they use to rip you off.

When it comes to your mobile phone, you are on most plan's charged for incoming SMS or they are deducted from your SMS Plan, so they can be even more of a problem vs Email ones that you can delete & not get charged for them.

Hope this helps answer your question & Welcome to Wireless Advisor.

Hey guys, I'm a LG VX8500 user who is disappointed with the clear protective case I just purcahsed, as well as the ability to sync songs to take advantage of the built in mp3 player. Nothing is going right!
