    Welcome,

How so? With a repeater/home antenna? Post what it is you'd like advice on in the Eastern US Wireless forum or in one of the General Wireless forums.

Hello, my name is Whitehorse & I'm in the wireless industry! :D

I started in wireless in 1995 with BellSouth Mobility after 5 years with Sprint Inc. as an international operator (wireline ld). Customer Service led to Tech Support in a time when Tech had the tools & access to do some great stuff! (Most of what I used to do is level 1 & 2 NOC stuff now). Laid off from BellSouth Mobility/Cingular on 9/15/2001 - wonderful time to be out of work - Went with T-Mobile for 1.5 yrs, that type of call center was not for me, I then went with a CLEC for about a year. That opened my eyes! If one thinks the cell phone business can be sleazy, wireless has nothing on the CLEC business!!! After I left there, bounced around doing non-telecom contract jobs until I landed with a company that supports most of the wireless carriers, & my technical support, customer service, and team leadership skills are wanted & needed! I look forward to posting &, even more, reading the posts of others. I'm also part time in college to get another bachelors degree, this one in IT. I'm 39, married for almost 18 years & have 1 child, a 17 yr old (yes, I know, got busy quick...) boy who is 6'5", 300#, & wears a size 18 shoe!!!

    Welcome Whitehorse,

we hope that your industry knowledge can help answer some of the tough questions. Obviously we try our best but the people with the inside knowledge can help out where most of us don't have the inside experience.

BAD, BAD, BAD! NEVER post your IMEI #. Bad things can happen if you make that public. Anyway, we don't unlock phones here. If you search the advertisers you'll find someone who does that for a fee. Many small independent cell phone dealers will also do this for you. It usually costs about $20.

Sorry about being so harsh at the start, but you should never post your IMEI in a public forum.
