    Hello everyone, Gamer is travelling with his family to Chicago all the way from Florida. It will be wonderful to take this opportunity to set up a Meet in Chicago. The dates that are being looked at are Thursday August 10 and Friday August 11.

    I know we have a a few members within 1-1.5 hours driving distance of Chicago, and I have noticed new members from Chicago, let's see if we can get a group together.

    Gamer, one thought it might be easier to park and get to if we meet at O'Hare, ofcourse then we don't get to the Nokia or the Moto Store. Will you be able to take a shuttle over to O'Hare or should we concentrate on meeting in downtown?

    Hope to get a great group going.....

    Well I could meet at O'Hare if need be.

    That way, like you said, people will not have to drive into downtown Chicago or The Magnificent Mile area.

    Let me talk to my family over dinner tonight and see what everyone's plans will be and to see if that would work.

    I will get back to you either tonight or tomorrow morning since I am recovering from getting my four wisdom teeth removed this morning. :(

    Wow, coincidence on the timing. I will be within 6 hours of you those days! I have a wedding in Minnesota that weekend and so I will be flying to Minneapolis on the 10th for the weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have time to swing down to Chicago, but it is close!

    AZ, are you sure there is no way you can route via O'Hare, you are going to be so very close. If you can we would meet you at O'Hare, that would be absolutely fantastic.

    Man, I wish I could make it work out. I already have my ticket and it is a direct flight from PHX to MSP. I also don't get in until 10pm on the 10th. Then first thing on the 11th we drive to northern Minnesota for the festivities. Not much time to play with!

    I'll be thinking about you guys! If something changes, I will be sure to let you know!

    Wiggy, I have a better idea. How about I go pick you up in my magic carpet and tell your wife that I think you are precious and 1 in 50 million, so I am whisking you away, and then fire up the supercharger on my magic carpet so she can't kill you....:rotfl:

    Seriously though, your meets inspired us so we will be thinking of you when we are in Chicago.

    Destination Q is no longer. It was a temporary store, and they have now shut it down. There are photos floating around out there of the store barricaded up as they work on the next tenant.
