I was browsing through the posts here and noticed in the forum "DON't GET SPRINT" that someone was saying that Verizon only won one award for the Houston area and Cingular only won one award as well. Well, here are the results for the 2001 J. D. Powers awards straight from there web site, ((How many times is Sprint on there??? LOL)) 2001 J.D. Powers Awards
So what's your point by making this post? Sprint won two awards. Cingular won one. I think most everyone already knows this by now.
Just that I saw alot of misinformation in other posts. I didn't mean it as a bashing to Sprint, just thought kidding, really. I'm new to the board here and didn't know/realize that everyone is already privy to this info. Just clarififying from some of the other posts I saw here. Thanks, and have a good day
Jon, welcome to the forum. I'm just curious what was the misinformation you saw? I don't think anyone said Verizon only won once did they? I think it was that Verizon and Cingular tied in only one market which was Houston. But here's my predictions for next year JD Powers: Sprint will win three and Cingular will win two. That will be a net gain of 1 for each.
I agree with larry I think that sprint will do better next year. Sprint is rapidly expanding their coverage. They just need to hire a new marketing person. (the commericals are interesting read: a little out there) Jack
Jack, Thanks for the support. They will do better next year. Some markets that I feel they have a shot at picking up are: Dallas, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, and Philadelphia. Possibly the Florida markets as well. Los Angeles might still be another two years away because of the Verizon/AT&T stronghold. They don't have a chance at Chicago, Houston, Denver or Atlanta I don't think.
<< They don't have a chance at Chicago... >> I'd have to agree with that. Sprint lost A LOT of customers and respect in the past year and half (me being one of them) in Chicago.
Malial, I've already received one private email about your icon. It seems you are the talk of the town. Are you a graphics artist? What program did you use to create it? It is awesome! Kevin

Kevin >> Kevin- Thanks for the compliment. I am a graphic designer and I did it primarily in Photoshop. I'll be happy to do custom icons for people for a tiny fee...
