You know your addicted to WA when:

10. You only got Firefox so subscribe to WA's RSS feeds.

11. You start coding your site in WA shortcuts instead of HTML. (This one is personal... eek )

12. You start referring yourself as your WA username.

13. You check your PM's. You have none... so you check them again.

14. You wake-up at 3AM, go to the bathroom, and check WA for new posts on the way back to bed.

15. You go into withdrawls during dinner.

16. You actually start saying IMO, LOL, and HTH in person.

17. You say "SCROLL UP" when someone asks you what you said.

18. You bought that new monitor just to make WA look better.

19. You forget about your phone because you talk about other phones here too much.

20. Your kid's initials are WA.

Lol I make myself laugh :rotfl:.

 

I browse WA mostly at work b/c my connection speeds elsewhere are too slow. And I've got my cookie set so I don't have to login.

 

I am guilty of the following:

1. You have more than 10 posts per day.

(It depends on the day ).

2. You know other members by first name, yet you've never actually met them.

(You know who you are ).

3. You have ever received the following error message when clicking on active topics: This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between searches. Please try again in xx seconds.

I get this all the time.

4. You check your post count daily (Or even more often!)

I do this all the time.

6. You start going through WA withdrawl if you are unable to log in for an extended period of time.

Yep.

7. You start going through WA withdrawl if nobody else is making new posts and you've already replied to all recent threads.

Yep.

13. You check your PM's. You have none... so you check them again.

Yep.

15. You go into withdrawls during dinner.

Guilty!!! I list the few of you I know in my phonebook by username!!! I'm Wiggy & I'm addicted!!!

 

Lol I'm pretty addicted to points 1-20 so I won't respond to each one. Add to that I'm online at 5 AM in the morning (working in the afternoon is cool , sleep in!!). I check WA mostly from home and from work if I have a few quiet moments where my colleagues can handle customers or working requests.

I'll add a couple points too:

You know you're addicted to WA when:

21. ....you haven't been on for a day or longer and then feel the need to check your User CP, the Active Topics, New Posts, forums and Cell Site gallery posts in one walkthrough.

22. .....you sleepwalk to your PC and start posting when you know you were actually asleep.

23. .....you pass on going out with your buddies since WA is the more urgent matter.

 

Yes, I am a WA Troll... I'm guilty of at least 75% of these things. Once I tried to used the forum code to italicize a word for a memo in our billing system at work. That's when I realized I'm on here too much.

Since I started my new job I dont get on WA anymore at work which is a bummer but there is always time at night.

No I am just kidding I am in the welding industry now and loving it. Great money and everything else I could from a job.

 

Yeah you probably will lol I know that when I was at my last job I was posting up a storm but now I have slowed.

Thank you all for the kind welcome! As it just so happens, I literally AM a troll. I have been labeled a troll in discussion rooms in EBAY, lol. (They ought to start discussions topic on how to best lose money!) Some of the advice they are giving new EBAYERs is CERTAIN to lose money! Although most are not businesspeople, but just hobbyists with good intentions, opposing viewpoints arent very welcome there, but I do love it so! Just found this great site and really got concerned by the thread about agents and felt I needed to respond. Funny how people can see the same thing in such different ways!
