Ok...I can see that you really want to see some nice Stealth Sites. Here are a bunch for my collection, that are meant to be stealth, but just suck.
Whoops my Flagpole images above have the wrong link, (they'll take you to my Boone Hampton Inn Pic) Here are the correct links (Click on thumbnails):
what is this?? this a sprint location on top of a 12 story building in a busy downtown area. there is only one tower nearby and its full. this was a decent location
Sorry, Eric... I was being a bit cryptic.:browani: It's just that some of these are hardly camo sites, and some that seem to be camo have unusual elements that move them away from desirable status. Jonathan
sorry im from GA so stealth may mean something different to me when i find cooler ones i will definetly post them. on the top of that traffic light pole, what is that?
That antenna on the traffic light is more than likely for Municiple Service, eith a hot link between lights to time them. Some cities have lights that can recognize when police or fire is approaching and will change the lights to favor the Police or fire direction of travel. Just a guess. I have seen a few camo sites, some of the one I have been to are called Vaults mounted under high power lines. A vault is basically a Cell site building buried in the ground and you open the door like on a deep freezer and climb down a ladder, which is not fun carrying 75 pounds worth of expensive test gear.
I thought I'd revive this thread and add a stealth site of my own. I may have a few other interesting ones to add here if I can get a chance to visit them.
Here's a few of the local ones around the Portland/Vancouver area. Hope I'm doing the embed picture link correctly. Last time I went by this site they added a Sprint CDMA chimney next to the IDEN chimney
