Would be nice to post them in full resolution. Using the attachment manager in WA seems to work great. Clicking on the attachment once, brings up the larger image of course. Click again brings up a new browser window, and then clicking on the magnifier mouse brings up the full resolution. See my photos in the Apple equivalent thread to this one.

I'll have to take some pics of today's snow, I planned to take a ride to the mountains anyway. Here's some I have taken with my HTC Vivid.

Thanks for the suggestion, Viewfly. Since I couldn't find the original images, and was short on time early this morning, I decided to post the smaller versions that I used in my review. I just found them, so I have attached them to my original post. By the way, I know how to use the attachment feature. So no need for an explanation. ;)

Ordinarily I do not take pictures with my phone, at least not pictures of something I deem worthy of being photographed :). However since it's only a question of time before certain forumite will come after me with a chainsaw "requesting" that I post a picture in this thread I decided to act early. Besides, I just washed it (yes, thank you, I know I didn't do a very good job).

Mods, feel free to edit out inappropriate content :D

I have found that the quality of my phone's camera is good enough that unless I am taking pictures that I intend to print, I usually just leave the digital camera alone. I can take a picture with the phone, and instantly share it on Facebook or Photobucket. The convenience factor is a huge plus.

I was shocked that I took some printable pictures with my Incredible... I wasn't expecting professional stuff, but I was pleased. Most times, a smartphone takes good enough pictures to share online, I agree.

Even I could tell the answer to that was NO. The Metro subway shots in no way resemble the architecture of any of the WMATA stations in VA, MD or DC - and all the hockey stuff in the third picture are all Atalanta Thrashers stuff, not Washington Capitals.

I agree with this and find the same thing with my iPhone's 4 and 4S. I always figured that when phones got up to 5 Mb ( and now 8Mb), I would have plenty of reasons not to carry around my point and shoot, unless there was something very special I needed it for. I know the bigger cameras have better optics and such, but we are all finding the new smartphone cameras to be better than expected.

The paint scheme on the cars looked close enough to DC's that I thought it was somewhere in the DC system.

Nice pic, Charlyee. I like taking pictures of old buildings and things when I'm on vacation. How old is that house? I tried being nosy by zooming in on the pic to see a date but couldn't tell if they put a date on it or not.

    Thanks Irish Rose. :)

I am not sure how old the building is but I am guessing late 15th century based on the assumption that Copernicus was born in that house in 1473.

I have some literature on it, I will look through them and post if I find a build date.
