Seeing as the weekend is just around the corner, Mother Nature has decided to "Spring" a little Summer on us. I'm guessing this is just her way of reminding us where we live and what we're in for this Summer... If it's cold where you are, you might want to come out our way this weekend. (For you 'Zonie's out there, I know you'll experience this heat wave too...:browani Thanks for the info, KABC-TV 7, Los Angeles.
For me, in the summer, humidity is the enemy. In the winter, it's the wind. Most of the time I think anything over 75° is too hot, and cold is anything under 45° I'm originally from NJ, but I did live in LV for a time, now I'm in SC, and I never go outside in the summer. If I wanted to enjoy a HOT summer day, on the west coast it would be at Lake Siskiyou or Shasta Lake, CA, near Mount Shasta & Redding in Northern CA, nice hot weather and no humidity. Went there and enjoyed it in August 2007, and I hope to go again.
Yep, you can add about five degrees to those temps. And my guess we will see triple digits in about three weeks.
Wow Mike...90 on Sunday! I think we are supposed to get drizzle/flurries with highs in the lower 40's If I could....I would hop the first plane out there to LA! Hopefully, my flight wouln't be cancelled either
Yea, actually we got 7 inches last night!!! I have to go get the plow truck and now plow our driveway again. It's quite depressing actually. They should change it to that, it makes more sense lol. The UP was I bet got dumped on, and probably recieved about 10-12 inches. Also, Michigan has the most Bipolar people, because we are one of the most cloudy states (due to those big "puddles")
Dave, it was hotter here than what was forecast. It was 97 degrees here today. It's very dry, but HOT. The only good thing is there's NO smog. It is crystal-clear beautiful as far as the eye can see. These are rare days. Once Summer arrives, it's HELL until the Fall.
It has not been to bad here. Tommorow 74 but then 54 Tuesday. I will be taking the motorcycle to work oh yeah.
It actually got hotter later in the day, topping out at 102... Within the next two days, the temps will drop nearly 40 degrees!!! Go fig?
Hell? Hell will be here in July (well not to me anyhow  ) when it will hit 95, but instead of dry, it will be as humid as a steam room. The people over here would kill to have a dry 95 out. But yeah, that smog later on this year doesn't sound good
It topped out at 95 on Monday, not today (Tuesday) it's only 65 degrees! This is SO un-California-like...
in GA its been mid 70's afternoon and 50's at night, for April this is Un-GA like...its usually already hot and humid out and its been suprisingly light and breezy almost everyday.
