    It seems that about 50% of the text messages that I send to my friends (T-Mobile) are delayed (not received by the recipient instantly). The delay is usually about 3 minutes, but in one instance it took 2 hours, 15 minutes for the message to receive the recipient. The delay also applies about 50% of the time when my T-Mobile friends send me text messages (usually about 3 minutes, and I've never experienced a long delay when receiving). Is this a known issue or what?

    It doesn't seem to matter whether I am on the Sprint network or roaming on the Verizon network. The delay happens about half the time on both networks. My T-Mobile friends don't have problems sending sending texts to anyone else (although I am the only one with Sprint, everyone else has T-Mobile or Verizon).

    It's hard to say where the problem lies, but my guess is that it may be on the T-Mobile side since even when you roam on the Verizon network you are getting delayed messages, but that is only a guess.

    I've heard this same complaint before about T-Mobile and the delays. Maybe it's something on their end. I do send texts to one T-Mobile every so often and don't remember any delays like that.

    I have an LG Lotus at this point. I've been having problems with Sprint since i decided to upgrade my phone about 6 months ago, or so. I upgraded the first time from the LG Rumor to the Rant, after about two days the Rant started delaying text messages by up to 4 hours. I took that Rant back, got another one exactly like it and it did the same thing after about 3 days. Finally, i figured maybe it was samsung, or motorolla, or whoever makes that thing and decided to get an LG because i was happy with the Rumor. I got the Lotus and it worked well for about a month, just up until i couldn't return it and get a new phone again. Now, i struggle with delays of up to 7 hours, i miss calls constantly. It's a pain. Now, i have to worry about all of the things Sprint does when you try to cancel at your renewel date.
    A pain in the butt.:censored::censored::censored::censored:
