Does anyone know if it is possible for me to get copies of the content of text messages sent and received on my own line that have already been deleted from my phone. My carrier is Verizon Wireless. Any help would be appreciated

No, you cannot. It might be possible to get past text messages with a court order, but not routinely to get a record.
