I have been a Verizon subscriber for 2 months now. I recently recieved my bill an dit was waaay more than I thought ti was going to be. Turns out that the bill showed me using 300+ text messages over my allowance of 250! I knew for sure that I did not send that many messages. I went to my Verizon rep and showed him my bill and he agreed it looked strange and said he would credit me back what was over charged. That was yesterday morning, and here it is midnight the next day, and my bill still shows the original amount with nothing credited back. How long does this process take? Also, the website statement also shows my total sent and recieved text messages. It shows I have sent 14, which sounds about right, but that I have recieved 80! It sais I had recieved 70 only a couple of nights ago, and in that time I had only recieved one or two, and my inbox only has 31 messages in it! I am getting pretty sick of this. I have erased all messages and brought my in and outboxes to zero, and am keeping a log of how many messages I recieve and also what the online statement shows at that given time. I feel I am getting screwed over here and if this keeps up I'll probably have an even bigger bill next month! If anyone has had this problem or knows why it is happening and how to stop it, please let me know. Thank you.
all you have to do is call customer care if you have concerns. if you got the bill then got the credit after we dont send you a new bill showing the updated ammount, so the bill will still show the charges. however your balance due should be changed thats all that matters.
Well I havent gotten a paper bill yet, I am only going by the online statement. Will the paper bill reflect the credit back or will the online statement?
if the credit was issued after your bill cyle date, then neither will. your balance will indicate if the credit was applied. try #bal send from the handset or log into your my account.
