    I have had T-Mobil for the past two years and have been very happy with the on-line services, customer service and rates, but the coverage stinks! I have more dropped calls than complete calls. I am looking to switch to another provider, and was hoping others could give me their feedback on their experience with coverage, rates, and customer service.
    Thanks.

    Verizon works very well in Temecula. I have never had any coverage issues there.

    As far as customer service goes, I have had excellent service from Verizon. You may read on these boards that people experience otherwise. All carriers have issues with service, though T-Mobile and Verizon are known to have the best.

    As far as rates go, you really do "get more" with T-Mobile, but if you have family and/or friends on Verizon, mobile to mobile is awesome. This is where Verizon really works for me. Most of my minutes are mobile to mobile.

    I can't tell you how Cingular and Sprint Nextel are in Temecula because I have not used their services there.

    I haven't spent a whole lot of time there but Sprint works well when I'm there.

    I've used my Verizon Wireless phone down there many times over the last four years and never had a problem. So I'll give VzW a :thumb: :thumb:

    3 years ago I purchased a Nextel Service and my daughter purchased T-Mobile, I had 4 bars and she had 3 bars. 2 1/2 years later I have 1 - 1 1/2 bars and she still has 3 bars. I beleive that since Nextel combined services they may be switching some towers over (not sure). Nextel is dropping my calls in many places when it use to be the great. I guess it is time to start looking for a new provider! Temecula Wine Country

    Thanks for all the help. After much consideration I've decided to go with Verizon, once I get it up and running I'll update this post to reflect the actual coverage, or lack of provided by Verizon compared to TMobil.

    OK, I've had Verizon now for a week, and all the T-Mobil dead-zones are now working great. I haven't had a dropped call all week even while driving around town. Thanks for the recommendation.

    What phone did you get?

    You now have a mobile to mobile community of almost 55 million. Hopefully that will eventually pay off for you in the long run.

    Congratulations on your new device!

    O git the Samsung SCH-A850 to replace my old Samsung X-495. I really like it because it is very similar to my old phone, and with the data cable it makes it easy to keep my data on my PC asnd download ringtones that I've created, and upload photos too. My old holster fits the new phone perfect too.

    "Jimi":

    I'm the RF engineer working for Temecula reviewing site apps. Lately Cingular, Sprint, and Nextel have been very active adding sites in the City. Not as much on T-Mobile. Don't know why, but just that 'it is what it is.'

    Best,
