I would like to second the request for tapatalk support. Works well for HoFo.

Seems like the only issue would be ad revenue for mobile users.

 

I use the XDA taptalk app all the time. It is really nice!

I suspect we have have some issues with other software on the forum. Please give it a try.

You have to Search for it on Tapatalk. Let me know if it works.

 

When I visited WA on my phone, the tapatalk message prompted me. I don't have it though, so I can't test.

 

Saw it too and did the same thing for me. It costs, though, and I'm not ready to delve into the waters of paid apps, so this will have to wait a bit. Unless there's a free version I don't know about.

 

I don't believe there is a free version and with the new 15 min window I am hesitant to plunge in.

There is also posts on the Android Forums that they went away from it due to some conflict issues.

I am actually fine with the way it is, I read from the Mobile and switch if I need to.

I bought Tapatalk today for $2.99. Pretty pricy, but it works well. MIght make life a bit simpler

 

I bought tapatalk but then uninstalled it. Typically if I am in a hurry I like going into a post from my email notifications and Tapatalk was being bypassed.

Maybe there is a way to do this but I didn't find it.

 

So I'm really liking Tapatalk! Worth the $2.99.

I turned off email notifications- too annoying. But I'm not a Supermod.

Yeah, I don't do email notifications for anything.

There are a few annoyances I have with Tapatalk, but for the most part it is a nice clean presentation. One seems to be that if you bring up your subscriptions in Tapatalk, then go to a computer, they're marked read even if you don't actually view the thread. Getting back out to the menu is a little quirky too.

I tried out the specialized HoFo app on Android, and it was really nice too. The devs of that should make it universal.

 

I just updated the Tapatalk forums plugin.

It should now have moderation capabilities (for moderators), but I understand you may need to update the app on your device for that. The updated Android app should be available now and the iPhone one in about a week(waiting for Apple approval).

What Cydia app did you download for the AT&T and WIFI icons in your screenshot. I like those.

 

Does anyone know what the Facebook extension does in taptalk? I turned it on but don't see anything new

 

I am not mistaken, I think it allows you to share posts from the forum on your wall. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. I attached a screenshot from my iPad 2 for what I see for the share options.
