Honestly it doesnt work for me for some reason. I've litterily tried it hundreds of times....I did exactly as the instructions say.....whats up with that? What am I doing wrong? there must be some deciding factor to why it works for some people and not for others....... I'm running WIN98 SE and I downloaded the drivers as stated, installed the drivers for the T720 with the auto driver install program.....and it still don't work.......... anybody that can solve this problem is a genious~!! Thanks

If you are more specific as to "what won't work"
It might be easier to help.

Like I had com port problems, so I reinstalled the cable and it worked.
I had problems getting the filesystem in BitPim to show up, reinstalled and it worked.

Its seems like a pain, but its worth it in the end.

I think I went overboard with the ringers.

75 ringers? wow, hehehe i thought the limit was 30.. but uhmm yeah, becareful with overloading the phone hehe we all know how sensitive it is.

On the note about the computer not recognizing the phone, interesting you guys say that because on the computer that i was doing all my magic work on, when i installed modem drivers to connect to the net using dial up networking, my bitpim thingie stopped working, i reinstalled the driver (i cant remember which one) and it worked again, so i installed the modem driver again and the bitpim now doesnt work, go figure, so if i can find the driver that makes mine work, then maybe it will work for the rest of you and i could upload it or something, ill keep you posted.

also i would love to create my own .inf file to compile like a T720c ihackyoumad file or something with all the programs needed and distribute it or something.

    Well, keep the circle round~

Ok, ive tried everything...on 3 different computers. 2 with win 98, and one with windows ME. Is there any new upgrades since the last post? Also, can this work with WINDOWS ME? Any help is greatly appreciated! I keep getting error messages, ive been trying nonstop for 3 days.
Installing and uninstalling thousands of times now, still nothing. My motorola is on com 4, but when i set it to com4 on bitpim, it does nothing.

I recently upgraded to windows XP Pro and havent played around.

I concluded that most of those issues are experienced when youre using a non future dial cable and the outdated version of the Prolific USB driver. Also if you are using a USB hub instead of plugging in your phone in one of the primary USB ports of your computer,
